Welcome to Eureka Springs: The I-Sh*t-You-Not History of America’s Quirkiest Town
Obviously, this is not a textbook.
Rather than “this-happened-then-that-happened,” each of the 60 short, breezy chapters will focus on one person (or a few closely related people) who made a splash in Eureka history.
“Welcome to Eureka Springs” will be a mostly light-hearted look at the colorful characters who have shaped the town: Wild West outlaws and the hatchet-wielding Carrie Nation, jazz greats and silent film stars, con men and quacks, brilliantly talented artists and energy-channeling psychics.
I’ll even throw in a few ghost stories and a dash of Bigfoot.
Eureka Springs has always provided a getaway from the troubles of the world, and I hope my book will do the same.
